OWENSBORO, Ky. — The Bellarmine University baseball team was swept Tuesday in a nonconference doubleheader at Kentucky Wesleyan by scores of 11-2 and 5-1.

Brady Pfaadt went 3 for 3 in the opener for Bellarmine (19-19) against the Panthers (26-11) and had a two-run single that accounted for the team's only runs. Senior center fielder

Griffin Neuer and sophomore second baseman
Trevor Lines had one hit apiece.
After scoring twice in the top of the fifth, Bellarmine trailed 3-2, but Kentucky Wesleyan scored two in the bottom half and added six more runs in the sixth.
Neuer had a pair of hits in the tail end, while Pfaadt, junior first baseman
Nick Wright, sophomore shortstop
Drew Greenwood, freshman pitcher
Alex Phillips and sophomore right fielder
Alex Ralph chipped in one hit apiece.
KWC scored twice in the third to take a 3-1 lead and added one run apiece in the fifth and sixth innings.
Bellarmine plays a doubleheader Saturday and Sunday at Great Lakes Valley Conference rival Indianapolis. First pitch is at noon (ET) both days.
