MACON, Ga. — Mercer completed a four-game sweep of the Bellarmine University baseball team with a 15-5 victory Sunday at OrthoGeorgia Park.
Mercer (9-4) scored seven runs over the first three innings. Bellarmine (5-6) plated three runs in the sixth to cut its deficit to 7-4, but the Bears answered with two runs in the bottom half and tacked on five more in the seventh to put it out of reach.

Casey Sorg notched a pair of RBI. Junior right-hander
Cody Medley tossed a pair of scoreless innings in relief.
Sorg had an RBI single in the first. Freshman left fielder
Joey Milto and Morse opened the sixth with consecutive singles and Back followed with an RBI double. Sorg and senior designated hitter
Tommy Dilz then drove in runs on a ground out and fielder's choice, respectively.
Bellarmine scored a run in the ninth after senior second baseman
Brett Pfaadt singled and eventually scored on an RBI fielder's choice off the bat of Milto.
Bellarmine will play at 2 p.m. (ET) Tuesday at Northern Kentucky.
