LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University wrestling team has announced its schedule for the 2023-24 season.

Between duals and tournaments, Bellarmine is bracing for 19 total competitions. Under Head Coach Ned Shuck, the Knights are set for 12 duals, including eight in Southern Conference action, but they'll add to that total by once again competing in the National Duals, which is one of seven tournaments slated for the upcoming season. BU has six home dates, including as host of the NCWA Regionals.

Bellarmine is coming off a historic 2022-23 campaign in which it set program records for team dual wins (12), individual wins (311) and individual falls (106). The Knights tied for fourth in the Southern Conference after going 4-4 in league duals.

Bellarmine opens the season Nov. 4 at the University of the Cumberlands' Patriot Open. The Knights will then host Kentucky Wesleyan on Nov. 10 in their first dual of the season.

Bellarmine follows with a pair of trips to Lindenwood. The Knights will first compete Nov. 18 in the Lindenwood Open before returning to face the Lions in a dual on Nov. 30. BU will remain in dual action with a Dec. 3 outing at Queens.

Bellarmine will conclude the 2023 portion of the schedule by competing Dec. 29-30 in the Soldier Salute and begin the 2024 segment Jan. 5-6 at the National Duals. Both tournaments will be held in Iowa.

Southern Conference action gets underway with home duals against Presbyterian on Jan. 19 and Gardner-Webb on Jan. 28. The Knights follow with conference duals Feb. 2 at Davidson and Feb. 4 at The Citadel. BU will also have participants in UIndy's Greyhound Open on Feb. 4.

Bellarmine will compete in two duals Feb. 9 at VMI. The first will be a neutral-site matchup with Long Island followed by a SoCon showdown with the host Keydets.

Bellarmine will host SoCon duals with Campbell on Feb. 11 and Chattanooga on Feb. 25, bookending those around a Feb. 18 conference clash at Appalachian State.

The Chattanooga match marks Bellarmine's SoCon finale. The Knights will follow by hosting the NCWA Regionals on March 2. They'll conclude the season in the NCWA National Championships on March 16 in Louisiana.
