UKnighted to face The Ville in TBT opener July 20 on FOX

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Basketball Tournament (TBT) – the $1 million, winner-take-all summer basketball event broadcast live on FOX networks – will see the debut of UKnighted, a Bellarmine alumni team. UKnighted will play in the Louisville Regional, looking to defend their home court at Freedom Hall from July 20-24.

UKnighted, the seventh seed in the Louisville Region, is organized by Nick Holmes and is coached by former Knight George Suggs, who is the head coach of the McKendree University men's basketball team.

UKnighted's current roster includes:

● Alex Cook (2016-20)
● Adam Eberhard (2015-19)
● Vance Hall (2012-14)
● Jeremy Kendle (2009-12)
● Braydon Hobbs (2008-12)
● Joseph Burton (Oregon State)
● Antonio Ballard (Miami [OH])
● AJ Pacher (Wright State)

More players will be added to UKnighted's roster in the following weeks announced via TBT and team social media platforms.

#2 seed The Ville (Louisville alumni)
#3 seed Sideline Cancer
#4 seed Run DFW
#5 seed Team Fredette
#6 seed PUMA/VBL
#8 seed Team DRC

UKnighted will play The Ville (Louisville Alumni) on Saturday, July 20, at 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX. If UKnighted advances to the second round, they will face the winner of Sideline Cancer and PUMA/Venice Beach League on Monday, July 22 at 7 p.m. ET on FS1.

The Louisville Regional championship game is Wednesday, July 24 at 7 p.m. ET on FS1.

The winner of the Louisville Regional will play the winner of the Lexington Regional in the quarterfinals on July 29 or 30 (official game date, time, and location to be determined). The semifinals and $1 million winner-take-all championship game will be Aug. 2 and Aug. 4 in Philadelphia, Pa. at the Daskalakis Athletic Center.
