MADEIRA BEACH, Fl. – Bellarmine softball closed out its weekend at the Make It Happen Games with a third win, walking off Siena 8-0 in five innings in the conclusion of Friday's suspended game after falling to UAlbany 10-5 in five at R.O.C. Park.
The Knights (5-14) came out flat against UAlbany to open the last day of the Make It Happen Games. UAlbany scored 10 runs across the first four innings, collecting eight hits while taking advantage of four Bellarmine errors.

After the loss, BU took some time to recharge before going back out to finish its suspended game against Siena.
Picking up with one out in the top of the fifth, sophomore
Makenzie Cowburn shut the Saints down, getting two quick outs to put the offense back to work.
In the home half of the inning, Zuege ripped a single up the middle before sophomore
Lauren Guthrie smoked a double into the left center gap, scoring Zuege to put Bellarmine ahead 7-0.
With one out and a full count in the sixth, junior
Kendall Gaddie launched a solo home run to left center field, walking it off for the Knights. Gaddie's homer was her second of the season and the third of
the game for BU.
Up next, Bellarmine will return home to play in the Cardinal Classic, hosted by Louisville, March 6-7.
