JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville scored a goal in each half while defeating the Bellarmine University women's soccer team 2-1 in Atlantic Sun Conference play Sunday at Southern Oak Stadium.
Junior defender
Sydney Elbert found the net for Bellarmine (2-5-2, 0-1-1 ASUN). She knotted the contest at 1 in the 36th minute on her first goal of the season and second of her career.
Jacksonville (3-3-3, 1-0-1) scored in the 30th and 62nd minutes. Ragna Magnúsdóttir accounted for the first goal, and Sofía Aguayo was responsible for the game-winner.

Anna Jenkins collected five saves for the Knights.
Bellarmine will host Stetson in an ASUN contest at 7 p.m. (ET) Thursday.
