Matt Lindsey joined the Bellarmine University lacrosse staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2025.

A native of Louisville, Lindsey works closely with the faceoff unit and runs the substitution box during games.

Lindsey came to the Highlands from Division II North Greenville University in South Carolina where he spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons as a graduate assistant. There, he helped the Trailblazers to the eighth-most faceoff wins in Division II over his two seasons and a 57-percent faceoff win percentage during his time, contributing to back-to-back double-digit win seasons and one NCAA tournament appearance.

Lindsey also previously served as head coach of Madeira High School in Cincinnati for the 2023 season, helping the Mustangs to the second-most wins in school history. He first gained coaching experience as an assistant coach and defensive coordinator at Archbishop McNicholas High School in Cincinnati in 2022.

A graduate of Male High School, Lindsey played club lacrosse at the University of Cincinnati, where he spent a year interning in the compliance office and earned his bachelor’s degree in sports administration. He also holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership from North Greenville.
