Samantha Robey

Samantha Robey joined Bellarmine University as its new athletics development officer in April of 2024. Robey oversees fundraising efforts for the university's NCAA Division I athletics programs, focusing on securing major gifts to support the continued growth and success of Bellarmine's athletic programs and facilities. 

Robey is a 2012 graduate of Bellarmine, with degrees in business administration and communication. She was a four-year member of the university's women's golf team,

Robey brings a wealth of experience to her new position, having worked at the University of Louisville since 2013. Most recently, she served as the assistant director of development for major gifts with a focus on athletics. Prior to that, Robey held various roles at the University of Louisville Golf Club, where she led marketing and memberships. She earned a Master's of Science in sports administration from the University of Louisville while working there. 

In her new role, Robey has direct responsibility for Bellarmine's athletics giving strategy. She works closely with athletics leadership to develop partnerships and secure major gifts. Her responsibilities include identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major gifts from a growing roster of prospects and donors.
