Katie Stamper singled through the right side to start Bellarmine's offense, advancing to second on
Lillie Nitzken's sacrifice bunt. Drury's Shelby Weissenbach walked
Rachel Fox, and a wild pitch on ball four allowed Fox to advance to second and Stamper to third.

After three foul balls, the Panthers' Chantal Oelrich singled to center in the top of the sixth. With Kendyl Frerking in to pinch run, Abbey LeJong singled to left field to drive in Frerking to tie the game at one.
The Knights were unable to get
Erica Knollman home to win the game after she doubled to left in the bottom of the seventh. The tie game grind continued until the top of the 11th inning where a sacrifice fly with a runner on third put Drury up 2-1. Bellarmine was unable to answer back.
Kurtz (1-5) was saddled with the loss after hurling an eye-popping 167 pitches and striking out five batters. Stamper led the Knights offense by going 2-for-4 at the plate.

Megan Bretz hit a one-base screamer up the middle, advancing to second on
Ciara Incorvati's sacrifice bunt to start the home half of the second inning. Drury's Jessica Kjeldgaard walked

Kelly Ely reached first base after being hit by a pitch. Tevis continued the scoring by smacking a three-RBI homer over left field to put the Knights up 6-0.
