LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Grand Valley State defeated the Bellarmine University women's tennis team 6-1 on Sunday at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.

"That was probably Maggie's last match in the SuRF and what a match to go out on," Knights Coach
John Mican said. "That match epitomized the heart and toughness that Maggie has shown her whole career."
Freshman
Madison Devillez pushed her opponent to a tiebreaker at No. 6 singles. The Knights were beaten at Nos. 1,2,4 and 5 in straight sets but won at least three games in each frame.
Bellarmine dropped to 8-3, while Grand Valley State improved to 19-4.
"We showed tremendous fight against a top-ranked opponent," Mican said. "All the matches were close."
