NASHVILLE, Tenn.—For the second straight night, the Bellarmine volleyball team fell in straight sets to the Lipscomb Bisons in ASUN Conference action at Allen Arena.
The host Bisons (8-2, 5-1 ASUN) got a big night from Kamryn Bacus with 18 kills and a hitting percentage of .467. As a team, Lipscomb outhit the Knights .349 to .123.
Despite the 3-0 score, the Knights didn't make it easy on the home team. In the first set, Bellarmine hung tough until a late 7-0 run lifted the Bisons to a 25-17 win. In set two, the Knights actually had two set points before Lipscomb escaped 28-26. Then in the third, another late run propelled the Bisons to a 25-16 win to complete the sweep.
Izzie Salameh was the Knights' top point producer for the second night in a row, putting up 10 kills on 22 swings with no errors for a .455 hitting percentage.
Bailey Roszman added seven kills for Bellarmine with
Abbie Oetting chipping in five.
Sam Rickert was the primary distributor for the Knights, handing out 26 assists.

Karleigh Wilson posted a match-high 15 digs.
Bellarmine slips to 1-9 overall and 0-6 in ASUN play.
The Knights' next action will come in Florence, Alabama when Bellarmine squares off against the Lions of North Alabama in ASUN matches on March 6 and 7.
