FLORENCE, Ky.--The Bellarmine women's golf team got a taste of what collegiate golf used to be like as they competed in a match play event at Boone Links on Saturday. The Knights squared off against Central Michigan in the morning round and host Northern Kentucky in the afternoon.
Caroline McCrorey won both her matches for Bellarmine to earn two points for the Knights while freshman
Jessica Stephens scored one and a half points with a match win and a half.
Overall, the Knights fell 4-2 to the Chippewas in the morning and tied the Norse 3-3 in the afternoon.

Bellarmine is back in action on Monday and Tuesday, and although the event is hosted by Cleveland State University, the competition will occur in Bellarmine's back yard as Nevel Meade Golf Course in Oldham County will be the venue.
