LOUISVILLE, Ky. —  Bellarmine men's tennis wrapped up an exciting extended weekend hosting and competing in the ITA Regional Championships. 
 
Bellarmine and the University of Louisville teamed up to host 21 other teams from around the region Thursday-Monday.  In the words of Bellarmine Head Coach Will Davis, "It's the biggest event Bellarmine men's tennis has ever been a part of."
 
Three doubles teams and eight singles players competed for the Knights, and five of them came away with singles victories.  Jack Batchelor bested Harry Rock of Memphis 7-5, 6-3, and Kyle Tang topped Ryan Cahill of Xavier 7-6 (7-4), 2-6, 6-2 in the first round.  Matthew Nice came away with a win over Aeneas Schaub of Austin Peay 6-2, 1-6, 13-11, Eli Wood defeated Bartosz Losiak of Northern Kentucky 6-1, Inj., and Vineet Ramesh topped Pol Masafret (Tennessee Tech), 7-5, Inj.
