LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Jacksonville State launched four home runs en route to a 12-1 win over the Bellarmine University baseball team in ASUN action Thursday at Knights Field.
JSU (24-27, 17-11 ASUN) smacked back-to-back-to-back homers in the second inning in building a 5-1 lead over Bellarmine (11-41, 8-20). The Gamecocks added three more runs in the fifth and two each in the seventh and ninth in capturing in the series opener.
Although he walked seven, JSU's Reid Fagerstrom nonetheless allowed only a single unearned run on six hits in 7.0 innings pitched. Carson Crowe went 4-for-5 with a homer, two doubles and six RBI.

Davis Crane. Six Knights had one hit apiece.
