Women's soccer notches another road shutout, deadlocks with Queens

CHARLOTTE, NC — The Bellarmine University women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw with Queens in ASUN action Sunday at the Queens Sports Complex.

Bellarmine (3-4-4, 0-2-2 ASUN) recorded its second straight shutout and fourth overall this season. Queens (2-4-4, 0-1-3) notched its sixth shutout of the year.

The defensive battle produced a combined 10 shots, with Queens holding an 8-2 edge, including 4-2 on frame. Junior Cambria Kingman and freshman Shelby Smith had two saves apiece for the Knights while combining for the clean sheet in goal.

Bellarmine will host Jacksonville at 7 p.m. (ET) Thursday in an ASUN contest.
