BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Bellarmine University women's tennis team captured a pair of singles victories and one in doubles action, but Indiana secured a 5-2 win over the Knights in BU's spring debut Monday at IU Tennis Center.
At Nos. 5 and 6 singles for Bellarmine (0-1), junior
Yeva Kramarova defeated Li Hsin Lin 6-3, 6-1 while freshman
Nikola Kollaritsch edged Chase Boyer in a 6-3, 3-6, 10-6 thriller.
Sophomore
Vendula Kryslova and freshman
Erica Kanna Hagi were also victorious at No. 2 doubles for the Knights, defeating Lin and Saby Nihalani 6-2.
Indiana (2-0) earned the doubles point after taking the Nos. 1 and 3 spots, and the Hoosiers secured the Nos. 1-4 singles wins.
Bellarmine will play at 7 p.m. (ET) Friday at Western Kentucky.
