LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University baseball team is set for a 56-game regular season in 2024, Coach
Chris Dominguez announced Tuesday.
Bellarmine, which will face a handful of 2023 NCAA Tournament teams, is slated for 22 contests at Knights Field. The Atlantic Sun Conference schedule is comprised of 30 games split evenly between three-game home and road series.
HOME SLATE
Bellarmine will make its home debut Feb. 28 against Oakland (29-31 last season, 2-seed in Horizon League Tournament). The Knights' first home series will unfold March 8-10 against former GLVC rival Southern Indiana (17-38).
Bellarmine's next contests on its own turf represent its first ASUN home series, as the Knights will welcome Jacksonville (34-24, 17-13) on March 22-24. BU will host a second straight conference series and opponent from the Sunshine State when North Florida (28-27, 13-17) comes to town for March 29-31 matchups.
Bellarmine will follow North Florida by hosting a midweek game April 2 against Ball State (36-23, MAC Tournament champion, NCAA Tournament). Next at home is an ASUN series against North Alabama (14-37, 8-22) from April 12-14.
ASUN counterpart Kennesaw State (25-29, 14-16) follows April 26-28 on the home agenda. Bellarmine's final home series against Queens (17-38, 9-21) from May 16-18 will also mark its ASUN and regular season finale.

Bellarmine's first seven games and 13 of its first 14 are on the road. The Knights will open the season Feb. 16-18 at Tennessee Tech (21-34) before playing Feb. 20 at Evansville (37-24, MVC Tournament runner-up).
Bellarmine will head to UNC Asheville (26-26) from Feb. 23-25 and travel to Samford (37-25, Southern Conference Tournament champion, NCAA Tournament) for a four-game series March 1-3, with the doubleheader on the middle day.
