CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Bellarmine University wrestling team dominated day one of the NWCA National Duals on Friday night at UNI-Dome.
 
As a group, the Knights (7-0) went undefeated on the day, sweeping Colorado State and Washington State 57-0 before topping Central Florida 53-6.
 
In total, Bellarmine notched 23 falls (12) and tech falls (11) across the three matches. Junior Cole Nance (174) led the group with a fall in each of his three bouts while redshirt sophomores Zac Cowan (149) and Sam Schroeder (184) and redshirt freshman Gray Ortis (157) tallied two falls each. Redshirt freshman Grant O'Dell (165) paced the group with a technical fall in each of his three wins.
 
Across all three matches, the Knights won every bout they competed in. The group allowed just six points on the day via a forfeit in the 141-weight class against Central Florida in the final match of the day.
