"It was a great way to kick off the season against some high-quality competition," Bellarmine head coach
Ned Shuck said. "It was exciting to get this group back on the road together and competing. We had some highly competitive matches that went our way and some that didn't, but we gained a lot of valuable information that we can build on. More than anything, I'm proud of our guys' attitude, effort and fight. I love the way they compete and carry themselves. Their passion for wrestling is evident in the way they approach every match, and that's something we can continue to build on as the season progresses."
Bellarmine will square off with host Ohio University in a dual at 7 p.m. (ET) Saturday in the Ohio Showcase.
