BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Western Kentucky had consecutive four-run innings in posting a 14-2 win Tuesday over the Bellarmine University baseball team at Nick Denes Field.
After scoring two runs in the first, Western Kentucky (32-16) plated four apiece in the third and fourth while adding a three-run sixth. The Hilltoppers amassed 13 hits.
Casey Sorg blasted his 13th home run of the season with a solo shot in the third inning for Bellarmine (7-41). The junior first baseman went deep for the second game in a row and third in the last five. He also notched his 10th double of the year.

Jacob Rowold, who collected a pair of hits.
Bellarmine will play a three-game ASUN series Friday-Sunday at Lipscomb, with a 7 p.m. (ET) first pitch in the opener.
