"The Bellarmine SAAC has continued to make giant strides over the past few years thanks to the strong leadership and dedication of each of our student-athletes and coaches," said SAAC advisor Beth Bowers Ratliff. "There are so many different strengths highlighted in our newly elected Executive Board. I am excited to watch them come together over the next year to promote student-athlete wellbeing, academic achievement, personal development and community engagement."

Acting as the Vice President of Internal Affairs for the 2023-24 academic year, newly elected President, Josh Meiman, will be serving his second year on the Executive Board and third year as a SAAC member.

"I am so excited to be the SAAC president in my final year at Bellarmine! Throughout my last two years on the SAAC, I have been honored to serve as both a committee chair and a Vice President. I have learned so much from the leaders before me as to how we can and will improve the experience of all Bellarmine student-athletes," said Josh.

"The SAAC gives our athletes the opportunity to use their voice, to enhance their overall experience, and expand their engagement across campus," Josh added. "I am excited to implement new plans and goals to grow the Bellarmine SAAC footprint and create a lasting impact on our campus, in the community and in the state. I am grateful to lead such a strong group of student-athletes here at Bellarmine and plan to represent each of them to the best of my abilities."
