CHATTANOOGA, Tn. – The Bellarmine women's tennis team concluded its fall schedule this past weekend at the UT Chattanooga Hidden Dual.
Bellarmine competed against the host Mocs as well as Jacksonville State and St. Thomas.
The Knights lineup featured senior
Vendula Kryslova, juniors
Marika Caruk,
Nikola Kollaritsch and
Lillie Willis and sophomore
Reese Parker.
Featuring two three days of doubles and two days of singles play, the Knights saw plenty of action in their final event of the fall. Kryslova and Parker teamed up for a doubles win over Jacksonville State's Isabella Sambola and Angeles Rodriguez while Kollaritsch and Willis tallied a win over St. Thomas' Lily Olson and Ingrid Forsberg.
In singles, Parker and Kollaritsch were unbeatable, both going 2-0 to account for all four of Bellarmine's win. Parker defeated Chattanooga's Jordan Fenton 1-6, 6-4, 10-7 in the first session and St. Thomas' Else Vander Stichele 6-1, 3-6, 10-6 in the second. Kollaritsch earned her first win over UTC's Ella Mancuso 6-3, 0-6, 10-5 before topping St. Thomas' Forsberg 6-1, 6-4 to end the weekend.
