CARBONDALE, Ill. — Southern Illinois clinched the series against the Bellarmine University baseball team with a 13-3 win Saturday at Itchy Jones Stadium.
Senior outfielder
Casey Sorg went 3-for-4 with two doubles for Bellarmine (2-11). Junior third baseman
Luke Scales added a pair of hits against Southern Illinois (10-3), which won the first two games of the series.

Charlie Rife and senior infielder
Seth Sweet-Chick lofted sacrifice flies in the second and fourth innings for Bellarmine while Sorg added an RBI double in the seventh.
Southern Illinois scored two runs apiece in the first and second innings and then plated four apiece in the fifth and sixth. The Salukis had 12 hits and drew 10 walks.
The series finale is set for 2 p.m. (ET) Sunday.
