Knights season comes to a close with ASUN Championship second round loss to North Florida

FORT MEYERS, Fl. – The Bellarmine University women's tennis team concluded its 2025-26 season on Thursday morning, falling 4-0 to North Florida in the second round of the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship at the FGCU Tennis Complex.

Bellarmine, the 8-seed, was rewarded for its opening round victory with a match against 1-seed, and undefeated, North Florida.

The Ospreys opened the match with a pair of doubles wins on courts one and three, winning 6-3, 6-0, respectively, to secure the team point and take a 1-0 lead.

From there, UNF kept the momentum rolling into singles, notching three quick wins on courts three, two and five to clinch the match 4-0 and advance to the next round.
