Recognized on College Sports Communicators’ Academic All-District Team…ASUN Honor Roll recipient...In first season at Bellarmine, led team in saves (four), ERA (5.72) and opposing batting average (.209), ranked second in relief appearances (20), tied for second in strikeouts (31), was third in innings pitched (39.1) and was fourth in total appearances (20)…Logged 2.0 innings or more in 13 of his outings, extending to at least 3.0 in four of those performances…All four saves came in ASUN play, where he posted a team-best 4.39 ERA with 23 strikeouts in 26.2 innings pitched…Made Knights debut Feb. 16 against Tennessee Tech and tossed 1.2 scoreless innings of relief…Struck out two in 2.0 shutout frames against ASUN foe FGCU on March 15…In consecutive appearances, fired 3.2 scoreless innings against ASUN counterpart North Florida on March 30 and 3.0 shutout innings against Western Kentucky on April 10…Notched first save after closing 10-4 win over Kennesaw State with 3.0 innings of work…In a combined 4.2 innings over two outings in an ASUN series against Eastern Kentucky, did not allow an earned run while striking out four…In ASUN action against Lipscomb, tallied 2.0 scoreless innings on May 10 and earned a save after fanning a season-high five in 2.0 innings in a 15-8 win over Bisons on May 11…Supplied saves in both wins in final ASUN series against Queens, striking out four in 1.2 scoreless innings in 7-5 victory and following with 2.0 shutout frames in 6-4 triumph.

BEFORE BELLARMINE: Played first four seasons at Sonoma State…As a junior, in final season with Seawolves, built a 4-2 record while tying for team lead in pitching appearances with 13 and ranking second in batting average against (.248) and WHIP (1.28)…Tossed 2.0 innings or more in 10 appearances and logged 33.2 innings for season…Allowed one run or less in seven outings…Was part of Coach John Goelz’s 1,100th career win…Appeared in eight games as a sophomore and struck out 14 in 13.1 innings pitched…Played high school baseball at La Costa Canyon in California and earned the victory in Coach Justin Machado’s 500th career win.
