Ashley Brown

Ashley Brown returned to the Knights Dance Team program as an assistant coach in 2017.

As a former member of the team, Brown served as a captain of the Bellarmine team that captured the national title in 2015. She danced all four years of her Bellarmine career, receiving an All-American nomination her senior year. While on the team, she served as Line Captain, Spirit Captain, and Student Athletic Advisory Committee Representative. She received the Most Valuable Dancer Award in 2015, in addition to receiving three Fred J. Karem Scholastic Achievement Awards.

Brown's dance career started in the studio setting, with 14 years of tap, jazz, ballet, modern, pointe, and hip hop training. She was also a four-year member of the Terre Haute North Vigo High School Dance Team. Ashley was an assistant coach for the Noe Middle School Dance Team during the 2016-2017 year, helping guide the team to its first state championship title in school history.

Ashley graduated from BU in 2015 with her bachelor of science in nursing degree and is now working as an oncology nurse.Â
