Bellarmine University Athletics

Taylor Thompson, who joined the Bellarmine staff in the spring of 2018,  began his dance training at his mother's dance studio, Dance Unlimited, in Louisville, KY. He grew up dancing competitively and has competed at numerous regional, national and world competitions.

Taylor has been a part of the 2011 National Champion University of Louisville Dance Team and the 2009 World Silver Medalist Dance Unlimited All-Star Team. After he finished competing, Taylor moved to New York City to pursue a professional dance and choreography career. While living there he had several performance opportunities including performing a lyrical piece in the JCE Jazz Choreography Project.

Aside from performing Taylor is a professional audio engineer. In 2015 he founded his music production company In Your Parents Basement Productions. He completes over 100 mixes a year for dance teams and studios across North America. His mixes have been the soundtrack to several National Champion routines. In 2017 Taylor and his cousin founded their choreography company ACTT Out Choreography. They travel around the United States providing quality competition routines for dance studios and dance teams! Currently Taylor is on staff at his mother's dance studio in Louisville, KY and loves to travel, teach and produce music.
