Madison Workman

Madison Workman joined the Bellarmine field hockey staff as a graduate assistant ahead of the 2024 season.
 
The older sister of Bellarmine goalkeeper Kailey Workman, Workman played five seasons at Miami (OH), one of the Knights’ annual foes in the Mid-American Conference.
 
A five-year starter on defense at Miami, Workman logged nearly 4,800 minutes over her career while helping the Redhawks to five consecutive MAC championships and five consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament. She was included on the MAC All-Tournament team as a senior and four times was named to the Academic All-MAC Team.
 
In the summer and fall of 2021, Workman also played on Field Hockey Canada’s Junior Women’s Team in the Junior Pan American Games in Chile and the Junior World Cup in South Africa.
 
Workman brings with her coaching experience from the club field hockey scene in both Ohio and Ontario. In the fall of 2023, she was the head coach of the high school team at the Oxford Brave club and in the summer of 2023 served as an assistant for Field Hockey Life’s high school teams in Columbus. In the summer of 2019, prior to her arrival at Miami, she was an apprentice coach on the U15 Ontario West Girls Team in Brampton.
 
The Milton, Ont., native holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Miami in family science and is pursuing a Master’s of Art in elementary education at Bellarmine.
