BEFORE BELLARMINE:  Three-time varsity letter winner and three-time District 6 field hockey champion at State College Area High School…Excelled in the classroom as an advanced chemistry teacher's assistant, HOSA member, JDRF advocate, and earned 4 years High Honor.

WHY BELLARMINE?: “The minute I stepped on campus it felt like home. After meeting the team, I instantly felt like part of the BUFH family.”

BOISVERT ON BARLETT: "Emma is passionate about the game of field hockey and will bring a high level of field hockey IQ to Bellarmine. She has great fundamental skills especially her possession and her accuracy when hitting."

PERSONAL:  My sibling’s name is Erin Barlett… A fun fact about me is that I have moved 8 times throughout my life all over the east coast. I was born in Philadelphia, then moved to the following places - Kingwood, West Virginia; Georgetown, Kentucky; Millville, New Jersey; Kingsport, Tennessee; Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania; State College, Pennsylvania; and Moseley, Virginia. Another interesting fact about me, is that I have been Type One Diabetic for almost 15 years…My favorite genre of music is Harlem Renaissance Jazz…My favorite TV show is Schitt’s Creek…My favorite movie is Breakfast at Tiffany’s…My favorite meal is my Pap’s homemade chili…My favorite hobby is shopping…My favorite athlete is Tiger Woods…My favorite pro sports team is the Philadelphia Phillies… My Pap, James (Jim) Snyder, was my biggest supporter on and off the field - he always pushed me to be the best possible version of myself, even if that meant going to school 9 hours away from home - after his passing and my last day ever talking to my Pap, on November 23rd 2021, I decided to carry on my Paps involvement in my field hockey career by wearing number 23.
