BEFORE BELLARMINE: Attended high school at Bellevue in Kentucky…Was an indoor state champion in the long jump and was a regional champion in the long jump, 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles…Was a three-time Division 3 Athlete of the Year, a two-time Bellevue MVP, six-time NKTFCA first team, three-time NKTFCA second team and one-time KTCCCA first-team 110 hurdles, KTCCCA second-team 300 hurdles…Earned KTCCA honorable-mention Academic All-State recognition…Was a three-time AAU Junior Olympic qualifier…Competed in club for Northern Kentucky United Elite…Also ran cross country and played basketball in high school…Awarded a citation of achievement from the Campbell County fiscal court.
