Lindsey LaRoche

Lindsey LaRoche, a former standout goalkeeper at Troy University, joined the Bellarmine University women’s soccer staff as a graduate assistant prior to the 2024 season.

LaRoche started in 42 of her 43 appearances in goal from 2000-22 at Troy and was a career captain. The native of Longwood, Florida, was a second-team All-Sun Belt Team selection in 2021 after ranking second in the conference in goals-against average (0.90) and third in save percentage (.824). LaRoche was recognized as Troy’s 2021 Troy Female Athlete of the Year and was a member of the Sun Belt Academic Honor Roll.

LaRoche was a graduate assistant at Troy in 2023. She earned her bachelor’s degree in human services and her Master of Science in Management from the university. She is pursuing her MBA at Bellarmine.

LaRoche attended Lyman High School in Florida and was a two-time team captain. She was instrumental in the attack for much of her prep career, earning team Offensive MVP honors her freshman year after leading the squad in scoring while ranking second her junior season. Protecting the goal her senior campaign, she averaged an estimable 14 saves per game. LaRoche competed for Orlando City ECNL most of her club career.
