Allie Gregory

Allie Gregory joined the Bellarmine volleyball coaching staff just prior to the 2021 season after finishing a distinguished player career at the University of Florida and completing a year as a graduate assistant coach for the Troy Trojans of the Sun Belt Conference.

Gregory was part of three SEC championship teams (2016, 2017, 2019) and one national runner-up team (2017) during her time as a Gator. She finished her career with 1,385 digs, the fourth-most in program history.

In 2019, Gregory was named a team captain and saw action in all 32 matches and 117 sets as the libero for the Gators. She led the team with 482 digs during the season, averaging 4.12 per set, and was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week three times. The senior also garnered 2019 American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Southeast Region Honorable Mention honors.

Gregory finished first on the team in digs (514), third in assists (130) and fourth in service aces (26) during her junior campaign in 2018, her first season as libero for the Gators. She averaged 4.18 digs per set, the fifth-best mark in the conference.

Gregory grew up in Louisville and played for Assumption High School where she helped lead the Rockets to the 2015 Kentucky state championship, where she was named most valuable player of the KHSAA State Tournament.  She also played club ball locally with KIVA and earned two All-America honors from the AAU as well as being named to Under Armour’s 2015 High School All-American Team.
