Taylor Wilson-Evanczyk

Corydon, Indiana native Taylor Wilson-Evanczyk joined the Bellarmine staff in 2023.

A prep star at Providence High School, where she led the Pioneers to back-to-back state titles, Wilson-Evanczyk took her talents Stony Brook for her first two collegiate seasons.  After appearing in 60 matches and averaging better than two kills per set for the Seawolve in her first two seasons, she transferred to the University of South Dakota for her final two years.  Wilson-Evanczyk became a first team All-Summit League performer as a senior when she also garnered MVP honors while leading the Coyotes to their first ever Summit League Tournament crown. A six-foot middle blocker, she hit .377 as a senior while averaging 3.26 kills per set and ringing up 88 total blocks. 

Following her playing days, Wilson-Evanczyk moved back to Indiana, spent a year working for the Volleyball League of America, coached high school volleyball at Floyd Central, spent 4 years teaching prekindergarten.  She also serves as the tournament director at Union. Taylor and her husband, Conner, have a daughter, Poppy.
