Devon Montgomery

Devon Montgomery was named Bellarmine University's Director of Game Operations and Ticketing in September of 2024.

In this role, Montgomery supports ticketing operations for the department, including season tickets for men’s basketball, women’s basketball and men’s wrestling. He also creates initiatives and promotions to drive attendance in Olympic sports.

Montgomery serves as the Director of Operations/Game Administrator for volleyball, wrestling and softball. He helps the Assistant Athletic Director, Event Management in athletic-related rentals of athletic facilities, including contract formation, representing the department at day-of-event and billing/reconciliation.

Montgomery also serves as the advisor to Bellarmine's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Prior to Bellarmine, Montgomery worked for the Tampa Bay Rays as a stringer/Trackman operator for their High-A minor league affiliate, the Bowling Green Hot Rods, during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. 

A graduate of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky., Montgomery earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management and earned his master's degree in recreation and sport administration. Additionally, he holds a certificate in esports management. While at WKU, he interned for the athletic department in game management and facilities.

Montgomery was a five-year Division I track and field student-athlete at WKU, specializing in the pole vault and competing in Conference USA. Montgomery was named to both the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and President's List. Montgomery holds top-5 records at WKU in both indoor and outdoor.

Originally from Greenville, Ind., Montgomery is a graduate of Floyd Central High School.
