Bellarmine University Athletics

Hunter Spencer was named the Assistant Director of Academic & Support Services for Student-Athletes in the Summer of 2023.   

As a former Bellarmine Student-Athlete (Baseball, 2014-2018), Hunter brings a unique level of experience back to Bellarmine.  After earning his undergraduate degree in Sports Administration and History from Bellarmine in 2018, Hunter continued his education at the University of Louisville and earned his master’s in Higher Education Administration in 2020.   

In the Spring of 2020, Hunter served as a graduate intern in Academic & Support Services for Student-Athletes during Bellarmine’s transition to Division I sports. Up until obtaining his new role as Assistant Director of Academic & Support Services for Student-Athletes, Hunter has previously served as assistant director of Indiana USSSA Baseball.    

Hunter lives in Louisville with his wife, Anne, and their daughter.
