LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Lauren Triplett delivered her second game-winning goal in as many games with a 78th minute shot from 19 yards out, and the Bellarmine Women's Soccer Team defeated Drury University 1-0 on Sunday at Owsley B. Frazier Stadium.

Triplett's score was her team-leading sixth of the season.  Abby Schuhmann earned her fourth assist of 2009 by taking the indirect free kick following a Drury foul.

Bellarmine (10-2, 8-2 GLVC) managed to outshoot Drury (11-2, 8-2 GLVC) seven to six, while each side had three shots on target.  Both teams attempted a pair of corner kicks in the match.

The two teams combined to have 28 fouls whistled against them.  11 of Drury's 16 total violations occurred in the second half.

Drury's Mandi Little managed to attempt the only two Panther shots following the Bellarmine goal.  Her 88th minute try sailed wide left, while Bellarmine keeper Amy Kunowski saved her second attempt one minute later.

Amanda Moore was the only other Knight with a shot attempt on the afternoon, finishing with two and one on target.

The Knights hit the road this week with a Friday game against the Missouri University of Science & Technology.  Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. in Rolla, Mo.
