SPRINGFIELD, Mo.--Bellarmine University senior
Kacie Gamm scored with less than a minute remaining in regulation to lift the visiting Bellarmine Knights past the Drury Panthers 1-0 tonight in a Great Lakes Valley Conference women's soccer contest.
The winning goal came from 15 yards out from the center of the field as
Gamm (Union, Ky., St. Henry ) registered her first goal of the season with just 55 ticks remaining on the clock.
Bellarmine outshot their hosts 7-3 and held the Panthers without a shot on goal as Bellarmine goalkeeper
Amy Kunowski (Milwaukee, Wis., Greendale) picks up the shutout win without recording a save.
The win lifted the Knights to 6-4-1 (5-3-1 GLVC) on the season while the Panthers fell to 5-6-1, 3-5-1 GLVC.
Bellarmine continues their road trip in Kansas City on Sunday as they face Rockhurst.
