LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- Coming off two wins in the United Electric Tip-Off Classic, the Bellarmine University women's basketball team will return to action Tuesday night as they host regional foe Central State in Knights Hall.

Last time out, Bellarmine (2-0) rallied in the second half to beat Glenville State 102-93 behind 21 points and nine rebounds from junior Kylie Brady, who was named MVP of the tournament. The Knights controlled the boards against the Pioneers, owning a 57-37 advantage on the glass behind a career high 12 boards from Allison Osen. Guard Allison Matheis and forward Darion Hutchinson were also named to the all-tournament team.

The Knights and Marauders faced off last year as Bellarmine cruised with 109-79 victory as guard led five players in double-figures with 26 points on a perfect 5-5 from behind the arc. Bellarmine was able to assert themselves on the boards in that game as well, winning the rebounding battle 41-27 over Central State.

A win over the Marauders could pay dividends at the season's end as the Independent school is part of the Midwest Region and a victory could help Bellarmine's chances of getting back to the NCAA Tournament. The Marauders are led by sophomore guard Iniquia Snell, who averaged 13 points last season but also bring in a pair of 6-3 freshmen in Melodie Wright and Tiara Harrison.

Bellarmine and Central State will tip off at 7:00 p.m. in Knighst Hall.
