Box Score SAN ANGELO, Texas—The No. 15 Angelo State Rams broke open a close game with a 3-run eighth inning and went on to shut out the visiting Bellarmine Knights 4-0 in a non-conference game at ASU's Foster Field on Monday evening.

Kyle Grana threw six solid innings, allowing just one run on three hits while striking out 11.
Meanwhile, Grana's counterpart, Bryce Zak also pitched a gem with no runs allowed in his six innings of 4-hit work. Zak then turned it over to the bullpen, which completed the shutout while allowing just one hit over the final three innings.
For the game, Bellarmine managed just five hits off the three ASU pitchers with
Michael Morrissette accounting for two of the Knights' hits.
The Rams totaled four runs on six hits with Ryan Greer slapping half of the ASU hits and Reggie Rodriguez belting a solo homer.
The same two teams will meet again Tuesday evening with first pitch scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
