Kuchenbrod sets digs record, but Knights fall in 3 to UMSL

ST. LOUIS—Despite a record-breaking performance by libero Jordyn Kuchenbrod, the Bellarmine University volleyball lost in straight sets (25-23, 25-17, 25-19) to Great Lakes Valley Conference rival Missouri-St. Louis tonight at the Mark Twain Center.

Kuchenbrod not only tied her career high with 40 digs in the contest, she also broke the Bellarmine  school record for most digs in a season.  After today's match, Kuchenbrod stands at 736 digs on the year to best the 710 that Jaclyn Ohlmann accumulated in 2013.

Margaret Horihan led Bellarmine with 10 kills with Ashley Jefferson chipping with six while hitting at a .294 clip.
