ELKINS, WV — Despite a significant advantage in shots, the Bellarmine University men's soccer team fell 3-2 in double overtime to Cedarville on Saturday at neutral-site Davis & Elkins.

Less than one minute into the second overtime, Sebastian Duque scored the game-winning goal for Cedarville off an assist from Kyle Nikerle.
Bellarmine dominated in shots, 21-8, and shots on goal, 11-4. However, three of those shots by the Yellow Jackets found the net. The Knights also had a 16-4 advantage in corner kicks.
Bellarmine took a 1-0 lead at halftime after Mocherman scored in the 38th minute. Cedarville tied it in the 59th minute on a goal by Sean Reilly, but the Knights grabbed the advantage again when Jones scored off an assist from Gordon in the 77th minute. The lead would be short-lived as the Yellow Jackets' Jon Brown delivered the equalizer three minutes later.
Bellarmine hosts Kentucky Wesleyan at 7 p.m. (ET) Monday.
