ROMEOVILLE, Ill.— The Bellarmine Knights volleyball team lost in straight sets (25-20, 25-22, 25-15) to No. 3 Lewis on Tuesday night in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match at Neil Carey Arena.
The host Flyers outhit the Knights .307 to .144 as Lewis' Maddie Seliga led all players with 13 kills while hitting .458.
Bellarmine was paced by
Margaret Horihan's 12 kills while setter
Allie Muha posted a double-double with 30 assists and 10 digs.
Defensively, Ronni Katarzynski posted 27 digs for the Flyers while Bellarmine's
Jordyn Kuchenbrod came up with 20.
Lewis improves to 26-2 and 15-1 in league play while the Knights slip to 22-7 overall and 12-5 in the GLVC.
The Knights close their 2017 regular season on Friday with a road trip to Wisconsin-Parkside.
