LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University wrestling team made program history Saturday in Knights Hall as the Knights recorded their first-ever victories in Great Lakes Valley Conference duals action.
Bellarmine led off the afternoon with a 33-15 victory over Truman State before securing a 28-14 win over Drury. The Knights dominated both duals, clinching them both following the 174-pound results.
"I'm really proud of our guys," Bellarmine Coach
Spencer Adams said. "They came together as a team for the first time. They committed themselves to our game plan and executed it. It feels great when a plan comes together. The guys are looking better individually as well. We still have work to do but we're still heading in the right direction."
