MANHEIM, Pa. – Six Bellarmine University wrestlers were recognized as NCAA Division I Scholar All-Americans by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA).
Graduate student
Daulton Mayer (education), redshirt senior
Nate Higley (business administration), redshirt juniors
Grant O'Dell (criminal justice) and
Keenan Wyatt (psychology), junior
Jeb Prechtel (finance), and redshirt sophomore
Andrew Liber (marketing) were acknowledged by the NWCA for the academic and athletic achievements.
Mayer, Liber and Prechtel are all recognized for the second time while Higley, O'Dell and Wyatt receive the honor for the first time.
This is the second straight year in which Bellarmine has had six student-athletes named a Scholar All-American by the NWCA, matching a program record (2025).
Bellarmine saw the most student-athletes on the list among all schools in the Southern Conference. Presbyterian and Gardner-Webb were second with four each, followed by The Citadel and Appalachian State with two each.
A total of 390 student-athletes representing 73 institutions were recognized for their academic success in the classroom while competing throughout the season.
"These student-athletes have demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence both on the mat and in the classroom. We commend their dedication and the example they set for the sport," said NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer.
