LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Bellarmine University Director of Athletics announced today that he has accepted the resignation of Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance Melanie Brunsdon, who has accepted another position.
 
Brunsdon, who came to Bellarmine in 2013, oversees compliance along with direct supervision over the men's and women's golf programs. She is a member and chair of the Staff Council and serves on the Strategic Planning Advisory and the Title IX committees. Her resignation is effective June 22.
 
Wiegandt said a national search will commence immediately for a replacement for Brunsdon, who will become associate athletic director at Winona State University.
