LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Bellarmine University Director of Athletics
Scott Wiegandt announced today that Annie Coryell has been appointed assistant director of athletics for compliance. In that role, Coryell will oversee all 22 of Bellarmine's sports with respect to NCAA compliance as well as have direct sport oversight.

"We pride ourselves on doing things the right way, and I have complete confidence that Annie's work will help Bellarmine athletics maintain a standard of excellence."
Coryell's title at Lewis was associate athletics director/director of compliance/senior woman administrator. Prior to joining the Flyers' athletic department, Coryell served in compliance roles for Dartmouth College, Western Illinois University and West Virginia University with additional experience as a communications coordinator for the Boomer Esiason Foundation.
"I am excited to be joining the Bellarmine family, and I'd like to thank
Scott Wiegandt for this opportunity," Coryell said. "The Knights have a tradition of success both in the classroom and on the playing field. I look forward to working with the coaches and student-athletes."
