LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Indiana Tech topped the Bellarmine Knights 6-1 on Monday afternoon at Bellarmine's Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.
Sophomore
Sam Rueff recorded the Knights' lone win at No. 4 singles, downing Alvaro Garrido 6-3, 6-1.
"This was a good example of the type of team we are going to face the rest of the year," said Bellarmine Coach
Tyler Worley, "Sam had a great win in singles for us. Overall, I am disappointed with the result, but we will learn from this and move on."
With the loss, the Knights fall to 3-6 on the year while Indiana Tech moves to 6-8.
Next up for Bellarmine is a road trip to Cleveland, Tennessee to take on the Lee Flames.
