Knights wrestling trio finishes among nation's top 15 in falls

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University wrestling team had three grapplers finish in the top 15 in the nation in falls.

To count, the falls had to come against Division II competition. Ties are broken based on aggregate times.

Senior Gage Branson (12 falls, 141) placed fifth, junior Eric Beck (10 falls, 165) finished 10th and freshman Zach Larue (nine falls, 133) placed 14th.

A second-team All-GLVC selection, Branson finished the season against all opponents 26-9 with 16 falls. Beck was 18-10 with 14 falls against all college levels, while Larue was 22-17 with 13 falls.
