LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The Bellarmine University women's basketball team will host four sessions of basketball camp July 13-16. The camp will offer instruction for girls in grades 1-8 and will focus on teaching the basic fundamental skills of basketball.

Shannon Litton along with members of the current Bellarmine women's basketball team, the camp's goal will be to provide a fun experience with an emphasis on teaching. The camp will feature individual contests and other competitive activities that will be incorporated to assist in skill development. Campers will be introduced to five-on-five competition and will have the opportunity to play team games. Campers will receive equal playing time and will be grouped by age, grade and ability.
Due to COVID-19, special protocols will be in place and participation will be limited to 50 campers.
The camp's four sessions will be broken into two time slots, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Session 1: Grades 1-4 / 9am – Noon / Drop off 8:30am in the BACK of Knights Hall
Session 2: Grades 5-8 / 9am – Noon / Drop off 8:30am in FRONT of Knights Hall
Session 3: Grades 1-4 / 1-4pm / Drop off 12:30 in BACK of Knights Hall
Session 4: Grades 5-8 / 1-4pm / Drop off 12:30pm in FRONT of Knights Hall
