LEXINGTON, Ky. — No. 21 Kentucky defeated the visiting Bellarmine University men's tennis team 7-0 on Wednesday.
Junior
Evan Bottorff and sophomore
Cole Groetsch did provide Bellarmine (0-3) its first-ever win while as a Division I program after capturing a 7-6 (7-4) victory over Liam Draxl and Alexandre Leblanc at No. 1 doubles. Draxl and Leblanc are ranked at Nos. 45 and 114, respectively, in singles play for Kentucky (4-0).
Sophomore
Emil B. Berglund won four games in the first set at No. 2 singles against Gabriel Diallo.
Bellarmine will host Northern Kentucky on Friday.
